New Pinback Album Set for 2012 Release

This past Record Store Day, San Diego indie band Pinback released a new single off their upcoming album. The record, entitled Information Retrieved, won't be out until 2012, so fans will have to bide their time for a while. Until then, here's a fantastic animated video for Pinback's great track "Fortress". No word if it's official or fan-made, as these are the YouTubes and they do not always credit well, but either way, it's a visual delight. Line-drawn medieval battles set to catchy indie rock do just fine by me.
